| Day One - North Norfolk coast | Visiting 2-3 sites we will be looking for migrants during this exciting period. Late April is often excellent for visible migration, & large numbers of migrating waders, swallows & martins are visible, finches move north, wheatears, pipits and warblers arrive from their wintering quarters. | Day Two - Brecklands | Visiting 2-3 breckland areas looking for Stone Curlew, Woodlark, Crossbill, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, plus a range of commoner woodland birds. Late April will also see the addition of Golden Oriole, & tours will also be looking for Bittern, Bearded Tit, Marsh Harrier, Crane, Hobby, Grasshopper Warbler, Garganey, Tree Pipit along with many of our other summering warblers. |
